Digital Diversity

Digital Diversity was a project in the 1990s, aimed at encouraging the use of the internet by lesbian, gay and bisexual people. It grew out of the uk-motss mailing list - the UK's first email list for gay people, founded in 1990 - and amongst other things, we provided email lists for various organisations, held social meetings, and created this website.

Although Digital Diversity is essentially defunct now - gay people hardly need help to use the internet any more - I've resurrected parts, in particular the online book of condolences that was created in the aftermath of the bombing of the Admiral Duncan ten years ago. You can no longer comment, but you can read the entries that other people made at the time, and see some of the related material.

Visit the Soho pages here

I've tried to ensure that as much of the site related to the Soho bombing works as possible, but you may encounter some broken links or scripts that no longer work, for which I apologise. Some pages may be slow to load - the server is old, and on a very slow link

On this tenth anniversary of the bombing, please take a moment to remember the victims, including the survivors.
