This is the home page for the EuroPoz mailing list. On this page you will
be able to find out a little about the list, including how to join, and
also follow links to some related information.
EuroPoz is an electronic mailing list for people who are HIV positive
in Europe. It is intended to be a supportive forum where people of any gender
and sexuality can exchange information and experiences relating to HIV and
AIDS issues.
The list is run on computer systems provided by Digital Diversity, and all
the adminstrative work is done by positive people, with financial support
from Digital Diversity.
The list is intended only for people who are positive - it is
not intended as a space for the partners of positive people, or for researchers
to canvas the views of those who are positive, and we would ask that you
respect this.
There is no charge made by Digital Diversity or by the maintainers of the
EuroPoz list for membership. The only cost that you will incurr is whatever
charge your Internet service provider makes for the receipt of e-mail.
You will be sent a list of Frequently Asked Questions and guidelines when
you subcribe to the list, and you should abide by them. People who persistently
abuse the guidelines may be removed.
Not usually; it is not possible to find out who is on the mailing list, and special software is used to help ensure privacy. It is also possible to post messages anonymously, should you prefer not to post them under your own name. If you decide to join, please respect the privacy of other members and do not reveal their membership to other people.
To subscribe to the list, click on the SignUp button or send a message
to EuroPoz-REQUEST@diversity.org.uk. Subscriptions are not processed automatically,
and there may be a delay before you hear from the list administrators.
